Longing
This quiet Sunday, my emotions are everywhere
I can't quite place the feelings I am experiencing
I long for healing of relationships
I long for peace
I long for joy
I long for heaven, where so many of my loved ones reside
I long for knowing who I am
because I feel like I am having to find myself again
after experiencing so much loss
I long for my confidence,
it has taken a beating lately
I long for my voice to be heard
and for everyone to know that it is ok
sometimes not to be ok
