Longing

I still miss her mystery, mornings when I'd wake beside her and nuzzle her nape, hear her breathing so softly, so sleek under satins that sculpted her beautiful shape. My days are now vacant, evenings are empty with no one to hold, to ponder and pattern ambitions together for ever, pale dreams that are now so far distant and cold.

I think you sent this to me by email; it rings a bell and a sweet one at that. Only two verses, one so content and the other filled with sadness. So goes the way of love.

Beautifully written but so very sad. Brings a lump to the throat and tear to the eye. So sorry if this speaks fact not fiction, for this is powerfully penned. Kindest thoughts, Anna-Marie.
