Long Way To Go

Introduction: Eyes can be deceiving...So don't give up with a snap because Its only the
beginning. Fight it, ease in your future and make it glow from the gray vicinity.



We exist in an age of shadow,
Shadows that we blindly follow
The moments when we feel so cold,
That is where we need to mold

There are many roads to take,
And judgments to make
No one’s going to make our choice,
It’s something we hold within our voice

At times the path seems to be a dead-end,
That’s the part where everything really extend
We still got a long way to go,
So, don’t stroll out and believe it’s the end

Don't do what I did for God sake, alway's use a word-check!

Judy Ball August 2, 2011 at 1:22 AM Really well thought out and well expressed. Always remember to balance the wording so you don't lose the beat in a rhyme. Balance is also important in prose. You have a real aptitude for this. I believe a poem should say something and not just be a bunch of words strung well together. You do this well. This has a great message. Love it.
