Long Times

The blue, bright blue
Of another summer day
The blue, deep blue
Of insisting to stay
And then going

The pink of a flower
That just had a dew shower

The yellow of nectar
The bee its collector
Flying fast

The navy of night
Stars giving off light
Then the moon
Silver, put me in a swoon

The red of the blood in my cut.

The orange of the sweet fruit
Trying to find a new root
Planted

The brown of the earth
Because it’s all worth
Giving thanks for it all

And the long time I’ve spent enjoying these
