Long Road To You

Taking the long road to you -
six years ago
Not knowing where I was going
Didn’t know your spell was cast on me -
six years ago
Until I looked at a picture of us from that time
Hoping you still feel the same

I’m crazy for you
My mind is so clear now
All those years without you taught me some tough life lessons

Ready to hold you close -
Having your perfume take hold of me -
Intoxicating
Taking your lips for a wild ride
Kissing you all night long
Staring into your eyes for a lifetime -
It’s all I need
