Long Days and Lonely Nights
The day seems so long
When night falls you are all alone
You have had enough
Remember this is life so hang on
You must never let yourself go
You may act so meek
People from the past do not recognize you
You cannot be weak
Because all people hurt
You must be strong
And carry on in this life
Everybody feels pain sometimes
It feels like everything seems to go wrong
You must build the strength to move along
When your day is filled with depression
A feeling you never thought was possible
Alone you stare at your reflection
Sometimes feeling like letting go
It seems like it would be so much easier
You've had so much of this life
Stay strong
You must hold on
Remember that everyone feels strife
With no comfort in your friends
None of them remain
It hurts and there is no one left to talk to
Just remember that everything ends
Don't let your life go
It might hurt your mind
Thinking about what is and what was
Never waste your time contemplating
How it should be
Live life how it turned out
No one thought you could make it this far
You made them all see
Turning out to be a shining star
Don’t be afraid to shout
If you are on your own
It seems like you are alone
Remember what you could find
The days are very long
The nights are never kind
When you think you've had too much
Of this life to hang on
You must be strong
Stay sane and never lose touch
Through these days
Even if you may be wrong
It is hard to look at yourself at night
But you can never give up this fight
