Lonely Star
To the lonely star in the sky, I wish tonight with all of my might, for strength and patience during these uncertain times, and comfort and love when my tears fall from my eyes. I never knew pain as I do right now, my heart is heavy and I walk around with a frown. I can’t sleep at night for the nightmares get to me, and the not knowing in life is the scariest place to ever be. The love for my child consumes me, my love for my child is constantly. I hear her own pain and confusion, and admire her bravery and strength and maturity in very grown up situation. My heart aches that we are faced with these trying and confusing times, and I will continue to pray and wish upon my star until both of our hearts will find peace and hurt no more. We will eventually rise and conquer, the nightmares will be caught and our frowns turned around. We are Mother and Daughter, two pea’s in a pod, with unbreakable strength and our special love.
