Loneliness, Maybe

Today, surrounded by family, I felt alone. As I looked upon the faces of my loved ones, I realised I was loved, yet still alone. This may be the onset of depression, But it might as well be my first reality check. The sturdiness of the crate doesn't guarantee the safety of its contents. The eggs will still fall, one by one, leaving only empty depressions. Then the crate is refilled, only to be emptied again, and the cycle continues.

Hello Darlene, you don't have to pretend to have someone when you actually do. There's you first and foremost, and there's Jesus. His love is unwavering and so is His warmth. My prayer is that you experienced Him and all that He gives this festive season, and that His love never depart from you. You'll surely find someone, until then, bask in His love and do have a wonderful rest of the year.
