Loneliness.

Loneliness.

It speaks to me,out of the darkest corner of my mind
On a stormy summer's night
It finds me,in a room full of people, all laughing ,talking, enjoying life.
It It creeps up on me,when there's no-one else around
It traps me,when I'm laying in my bed.
"Go away ",I tell it,"leave me alone"
It answers me vehemently, with dark and longing spasms,
"I'm here,come with me,I'm here"
"Get away",I tell myself,"run and hide",
Where to go?,where will it not find me?
Over my shoulder,I look, behind the doors, through the windows
Is it gone?At last sleep comes,no more loneliness
No more fear or torment,
Just peace,only peace,thankyou,peace.
