Lone Eagle

A
Lone
Eagle
Flies high
Joined by a smaller male, calls
To him softly, come. Dives as if in water, chases
Calls, does cartwheels, swoops, fly high lock talons free fall separating before hits ground

Powerful image of the eagle responding to the call of a smaller bird. Love the cartwheels, swoops and locked talons. Very vivid, Sara! Love, Carolyn

Easy to picture the whole scene of the lone eagle, who wasn't so lonely after all. Nice poetry style. Thanks for sharing, Caroline.

This is very airy....inspiring even. I feel the soaring feeling in this poem. Love the images it creates. Best wishes, Sara
