Lolling About

Lolling about, down by the lake

Just watching the clouds scudding by.

Surrounded by fells, a vision of heaven,

There is no one as happy as I.

I hear little waves lapping the shore,

With hypnotic rhythm, they sing.

In somnolent bliss I happily drift,

Lost in the mood that they bring.

Lovely expression of a lakeside scene, Gary. Can just feel myself relaxing by the shore in the cool lake breeze. // Barry.

I just love this Gary. It brought me back to the lake I floated on at the bottom of the mountain where I used to live. Great poem :)
