Loathsome Lies

How many times must we got through this
Upon how many fictions will you insist
Again and again you recite veteran lies
Though I question each, I believe you each time
Each time you sound earnest, so sure of what's true
So I believe you once more, and am oft left to stew.
How are you so good at telling these lies
Why do I bother every time to chastise
Why do I simmer and seethe and despise
When I can be done with you, and your loathsome lies

This is a very strong poem about a serious topic. Close your eyes and listen only to the words and tone of those words. Don't be fooled by the mask that is trying to portray truth.

Life is to short to be caught up in anyone's drama . It improves when you when realize your own thoughts and actions are the only things you are responsible for. So if you can refuse to listen to B.S. and be happy good for you. If you can't ignore it perhaps it may be time to take action and relocate. If this is just a poem it's a good one .

yet you'll continue to come back again and again, because you think that he's your friend.
