Living Light

Touching, yet, not touching; like drop over a lotus leaf,
The moment of my soul, touching the divine light, is brief;
As a plant, by sunlight, performs the photosynthesis,
So too, my spirit draws strength from divine bountifulness...!

Does a reservoir remain silent when its bank brim-filled?
Doesn't a river break, into brooks, when, by waters, thrilled?
So too, I'm forced to spread, graces gained by the living light,
Sweeping away the darkness, instilled by the wicked night...!

Light surrounds the firmament; In light live ether and earth,
Living in the living light, kindles each one's inner hearth;
Light is shed on creatures, as they begin the art of breath,
Lit by the light of lights, beings abridge the life and death...!

Let light flare and light inner fire till life gets expire;
Let light and light alone light up roads leading us higher...!
