Living Alone

Life is uneventful
In my house
Very quiet without my spouse,
Indeed, I’d be so happy to have her back
Never knew how much I’d miss her
Giving she’s been gone three years now.

All I can tell you is,
Love them with all your heart
Openly and freely while you can
Now that she’s gone I wish I had done more
Each day that passes, I love her more.

I pray for peace and comfort for all you that live on beyond your loved ones, Milt. I guess you're stuck with your poetry soup family now. :-) Have a good day! Bill

I reckon so, Bill. And, they are a positive group with good influences on me. I have a niece who lives close and some dear friends who keep me motivated. Thanks, Bill. Hope you have a marvelous, productive, and enjoyable week.

So true. She and I always planned for me going first. It just didn't happen that way. You never know.

Thank you so much, Ilene. I hope you are really enjoying your time in Colorado, although, I suspect it's still rather cold out there.
