Live Stream
Live Stream
The tiny stream emerged from the woods
with a song in its heart and a spring in its waters
Flowing over sharp stones and unbudging rocks,
finding its way through caves and dark forests
it gushed along with a purpose.
"Exuberance will get you nowhere,"
said the placid lake..."Come lets stagnate" it begged.
NO said the tireless stream "Let me go,
"I am alive let me flow"
No point, said the lake you'll meet death sooner
Death? scoffed the stream, Ha! I am going to live forever.
I flow to be a part of the mighty waves
to rise and fall for endless days
The ocean beckons with open arms
and that is where I'll live on
I'm going where I belong.
