Live Life To the Fullest

I pissed off my spiritual advisor
Just how precious are the lessons
Ghosted by the spirits
Echos—it’s not me it’s you
Everything green and golden
Is this the eye of a hurricane
Darkness whispers—
Extinguish all hope
I think I am in love
Ever startle awake to knocking
No matter what they say
If you happen not to wake
Never ever answer that knock

I like the essence of your thought. Purgatory limbo expressed as a choice (the way I read it) Speaking of read, thank you, - I read through a lot of William Carlos Williams and other recommendations. Imbibed firm influence from them. Greatly enjoyed the undercover irony of Red Wheelbarrow, and the Jehovah visitor poem and others.

Thanks Sigrid, ''The Red Wheelbarrow'' is one of my favorites and is fun to kinda disect and decipher. ''This is just to say'' is pretty amazing also. I had been studying ''Purfrock'' when I wrote this poem. I am drawn to the modern and Stream of Conciousness style. Thanks again!
