Live It Bard

The poet’s words can have such an effect.
Especially the whisper of a glimpse of a blip of a beep.
A gentle tug or idea that resonates with a reader’s heart.
We do not all have to turn loud and shout.
A whisper being so much more effective
Shhhhhhhhh Keep it to yourself, bard. Live it! 

The teacher’s pleas can fall on deaf ears.
As students have other things to consider.
Some are homeless, living in an uncle’s demands.
Others are worried about where Mom is.
Will she bring home food for the little ones tomorrow?
Whispering is her most effective tool. Does she know?

Words of the mothers and fathers
Travel into the night 
Faster and faster
Unheard by others
words of prayer, words of praise, words of gratitude.
Be as quiet as you can my friend.
Or you will miss the whisper of God.

Jennifer Proxenos April 25, 2021 at 6:41 AM The whisper of God - so important - did I ever tell you that I heard God and his voice was like an ordinary human being and even his talking was simple not elaborate, my father was dying of cancer, I couldn't take it any more so I sat and cried and spoke to Him, very sound advise which I followed, and my father lived a further 18 months.
