Little People's Garden
LITTLE PEOPLE’s GARDEN
We little people do love our multi layered garden
That has many places for shade and trees to play
We love the smell of the new turned earth in spring
And just as delightful is the smell of summer flowers
With lots of places where we can party till dawn
Like the ones we just had under the flowers
With the sunshine weather in the early dawn
We fairies like to dance around in a ring with the pixies
In celebration of the brand new day to come
And the pixies do so love our garden at any time
As they have the trees to climb and swing on all day
The gnomes though are not so cheerful
And lie it better at the bottom of our garden
Where they can sit and contemplate under the bushes
Though they will come and join us all at eventide celebrations
To watch the sun setting over the garden fence so tall
Some folks will sit and fish in the pond but don’t catch much
Whilst our garden is an oasis of calm and much fun
With many a creature having a home here as well
There is much to do and see here and keep us happy to stay
