Little People

Little people
By Michelle Morris

I want to live in a world
Where children are safe and sound
Where they can enjoy their childhood
Not endure labour abuse or bodily harm

No girl wants to be a child bride
No boy wants to be a slave
No child needs trauma and violations
Against their bodies, minds and souls

We need to protect children from evil
We need to surround them with love and light
They deserve to have their innocence preserved
Warm love and hugs and starry skies

Give them a chance to believe in wishes
On stars and dandelions and magical things
Each of them are blessed potential
Little people who should grow up to be happy and free
