Little Mermaid
I float
dance along
the ocean floor
I glide
move along
my aquatic hell
I gasp
float along
as I try to inhale
My lungs fill
I struggle
I flail
The light dims
I sink down
deeper
Into the cold
unforgiving
grave
of
the
sea
Into the deep
where little fishies
will gnaw and nibble
at me
