Little John

Little John held little Mary’s hand Walked down the street With the wind brushing her hair And the melody on her feet. Little John hugged little Mary tight Twirled the world With just a snap And under the moonlight. Little John kissed little Mary’s tender lips The universe stopped Including her heartbeat But not the raindrops. Little John adored little Mary much She was his all So beautiful and alive Not until they fall Little John bid little Mary goodbye With the wind brushing her hair And the melody on her feet With just a snap The universe stopped Including her heartbeat And the raindrops So beautiful and alive. At that moment, Little John And little Mary Fall and falter.
