Notes About The Poem

Listen to poem:

Little Bright Stardrops

Voice: Sara Ella

Little bright stardrops in emerald green
Emerald green forest in starlight so bright
Starlight so bright as you've never seen
You've never seen so much peace in the night

Night with a moonbeam that brightens my mood
Brightens my mood with small kisses of gold
Kisses of gold that gives feelings so good
Feelings so good they drive out the cold

Cold that crept up my mute spine in the eve
In the eve where the demons were waiting for me
Waiting for me with their smirks, I believe
I believe I can wish them away, you will see

You will see little stardrops in starlight so bright
So bright as the night without clouds without fear
Without fear I conquer my demons this night
This night is the first night without any tear

Darren, I love the pattern you created playing off the endings of each line. Great styled poem!

Yes, it's something that sat in the back of my mind for quite a while. It has a sort of cadence to it that I love.... like a see saw :)

This flows so fluidly it is magic for the tongue. Brilliant like stars if you pardon the pun.

I pardon the pun :) Thank you, and yes that was exactly my intention, that it rolls of the tongue with ease.
