Little Boys Life

Little boy’s life

By the window he peeped
Praying they leave the table soon
For their leftovers makes his dinner
So he peeped by the window

Through the hole he watched
Cheering quietly at the match
For a penny too much for the fee
So he watched through the hole

Through the night he studied
Desire for knowledge killing him
But his mama needs him to work the day
So he studied through the night

With his pain he winced
The worms everywhere his body
No drugs no ointment no penny to buy
So he winced with his pain

By a letter he penned it down
To you he thought of as an angel
Hope soon you will come before its too late
So he penned it down by a letter

It’s a dream come true with you
Never knew it would be this different
Be blessed for the hand you extended
Coz wit you it’s a dream come true
