Naive ambition...Blond bombshell... ruined, used as a shallow sex goddess...Hollywood ignored her humanity. One of the most stunning of the long litany of Hollywood's female leads.

I think she was murdered. She wasn't that dumb a blonde. Yes, many ignored her intelligence and humanity. She was a shining light that found the dark too soon, on all sides of her. The Kennedy's (not so squeaky clean and cursed), the Mafia, Hollywood...the system. The way women were used, disrespected and devalued during that era. It is interesting to view the relationship between her mother and Marilyn, herself, as daughter and the inherited depression. Her mother did not commit suicide, there had been previous attempts by Marilyn - yet I do not believe she committed suicide. I do believe previous attempts were used as a cover to her murder. Post mortem suggests drugs were administered to Marilyn in a way that she would not have been able to administer them to herself.

The usual signs of self-administered suicide were not present (physically) sure a bottle of pills and booze near her (placed as props), along with a myriad of other anomalies related to her physicality via medical forensics (eg, all her internal organs from post mortem missing). More than likely Robert Kennedy with assistance from Lawford. Possibly mafia involvement. It's all connected.
