Listening

LISTEN “What are you doing?” I was asked one early morning as I was sitting on a bench. “Listening,” I said. “Listening to everything being said.” “Here, sit with me for a while.” “Close your eyes and listen to your mind.” Stillness directs your thoughts; blindness directs your vision. Fill your ears with sounds, sweet and alive. Listen to your heart for it know where to take you. Let it lead you; Listen, Follow.
