Listen To the Bells
Listen to the bells ringing of joy!
Uplifting hearts,
Announcing that Boy,
That saved the world.
Listen to the bells ringing for sorrow,
Somber, slow, bidding goodbye,
Ringing, ringing in the graveyard,
Hearts of love gathered to cry.
Listen to the bells ring in a wedding,
Ringing, beginning a new family,
‘Til death to depart, pronouncing
Hope, faith, under sun, stars and moon, charity.
Listen to the bells ringing for Sunday,
Bright angels singing and pulling the cords;
Love and ringing forever and ever more,
Listen to the bells, the bells,
The bells
The bells.
