Listen
Have you ever closed your eyes
And retreated to the stillness of your heart
Allowed yourself to dream
To wonder who you are
Your soul will whisper it's desires
If you would only take the time to listen
Life is all around you
It is in the rustle of the leaves
As they carry a gentle breeze
In the sweet song of the birds
As they flit from tree to tree
Today I think I will take some time
And get to know me
