Liquid Poetry

When you find that special someone who heartily & unconditionally enraptures each second of every day, makes life appear to be tangible liquid poetry fantasies realize reality's passionateness, thereupon adoringly kisses darkly euphoric toffee eyes midst unveiling wildflowers, whilst lavishing lush keepsake daisies 'tween unfurled silken tresses, never take a moment for granted such exquisite reveries are far and few, soaring amongst boundlessness of cosmoses' inconceivable flourish

I thought I'd check out your first offering to the soup! And thought.... I recognize that style of writing! Don't take this the wrong way but you remind me of a magpie! In the sense that they have what seems to be an endless vocal tune! (I live in magpie territory so I constantly hear them) And as this poem so elegantly states we should not take anything for granted! Love your work it inspires me so. You and Chris both do, I wrote a poem today called, 'Man is that miracle' thinking of you both!

Starting a study of your work from bottoms up. (the list, I mean) Intensity. I should not be surprised. Will proceed leisurely, to avoid exhaustion, allow for regeneration of brain cells, and, for savoring. This is going to be fun. btw, I like the "all-in-one-breathness" of this very much. Liquid, in a torrent. Cheers and choc'lits ~ j

Beautiful debut, Paloma. Like the title song from a jazz giant Freddie Hubbard, "Liquid Love," that is what plays in my mind when I read this poem. Very melodious and sensual this poem is. Acck ... be gone Yoda. Pure liquid poetry. Much love to you and yours. RW.

There is so much truth in your poem Paloma. You have a very unique style that allows the reader to think and feel and see things in a completely different way. Indeed, we should not take anything for granted especially those who bring these feelings and desires and well, love to our worlds every day. Liquid Poetry, I love the title and absolutely adore the poem.

PS...Paloma, Welcome to Poetry soup, I hope you enjoy the community. Here, you will find friendly poets who enjoy supporting one another. I myself, enjoy reading and commenting those who want to be read. The only time I give constructive criticism is when a poet desires it. However, if for some reason the poem is not my field I will guide you to someone who is more qualified than I. Stop by and read one of my poems if you like. My poems are not perfect, but I have a feeling you might like one. I encourage you to check out the contest page and read to receive comments. Tell me a little about your poetic skills if you like. It will be my pleasure to follow and read every poem you post from here on :) We are Lucky To Have you. Your New Poet Friend @-> LINDA <-@

Hello Linda, nice to meet you too. Thanks so much for the warm welcome. I always appreciate 'constructive' critiques, that's the only way we improve. I read one of yours write off the bat, not sure I had the right translation but it was intriguing and well written. Looking forward to reading more. :)
