Star of Sirus Sparkling brightest Aligns with the sun in Leo Night darkest night All year she’ll await Bright star so bright On August eight Dog days of summer Rising on the horizon Nile flood Taking life away Lyon hungers for blood Devouring his prey Gatekeeper’s trust Opens the portal Shades of deepest orange Evoking energy Open your heart mortal Flames of fire scorching The doorway closes in Mid-August Energy in abundance The lion doesn’t hesitate Leo the Lion The fire sign Courage and pride soar The lions gate Confirming presence Intentions roar Dominance Eastern sky Opportunity awaits August eighth Leo’s alliance to the star Sirus Opening Lionsgate Sun is in Leo Enter the higher dimensions Layers of energy peaks Opportunist the lion does not hesitate Enter the Lionsgate at own risk

Oh wow, I definitely love this piece so much, being a fellow fire sign, Aries, the powerful vibes of this piece have really enchanted me.. Leo, the sign of August, has been so wonderfully portrayed in this impeccable piece with gorgeous poetic skills and subtle alliterative flow.. This held my eyes captivated throughout.. Brilliantly done! :)

ah, you've written a poem on lionsgate! the new age movement promotes it as something positive, but it's actually an energy harvesting, and it opens a gateway for bad energies and entities to enter..this is well written, but i advise anyone to steer clear of lionsgate - i had a bad experience with it, and i know many others have too

In those two weeks a positive thing did happen to my dear partner, a non-fiction piece was published with my help. But Charlotte until I read your "August" I never heard of Lionsgate. Thank you for the inspiration as a Leo I was compelled to write about it. I'll do more research on that. Sorry you had and others had bad experience's, a brilliant acrostic! Only good vibes your way :)

I was just thinking about the song Aquarius,and how to incorporate it into the poem as a contrast!! when the moon is in the... When the moon is in the seventh house And Jupiter aligns with mars..quite the opposite of LEO and the sun! ;)

Eve, it's a work in progress, so far a stream of consciousness, ha. August will soon end. Are you a Leo as well? My mother still scolds me for being born on the hottest day of the year!
