Notes About The Poem

This poem was actually written as a childrens book for which I am also doing the illustrations. I will post (some of) them when they are complete...

Bears hide in your bath....

Lions Ride Your Elevator

========================

First you got an alligator.

Next came a giraffe.

Lions ride your elevator..... Bears hide in your bath.

Bunnies...

   Chimps...

       (a duck!)...

            Raccoons...

run amok through all your rooms!

Soon, if you don't set them free,

 there will be no room for me!

Thank you, Eve! I wasn't really thinking of any shape in particular - I just thought I'd try an eye catching layout to help advance the 'plot' of the write. What do you think? Does it assist the flow?

Ha! Thank you, Jan. I don't have kids but find myself writing for them frequently, anyway. They make a much less finicky audience! xoxo
