Lingering Scent

How long the scent lingers
Wash your hands
Change your clothes
Scrub your face
And brush your teeth.

Steam your body
Like a lobster in a pot
But that scent
Retreat will not.

The smell of my man
Cannot be cleaned off
When every stitch stayed on
Two bodies in the loft.

His smell hangs in the air
Clinging around like a cloud
Covering all you taste
No arrogance just proud.
