Lines Of Light

When words collide with thoughts of love
                       to fountain forth an eager pen
Then lines of light begin to form
                    and fill the page with hope again

A world that pirouettes in pain
                          will often bid a muse to bed
Then feelings bottled and constrained
                      can ne’er escape a weary head

Yet love not only heals the Earth  
                   but all that hinders words to flow
So when I write with heart and grace
                  I write from what I yearn to know
