Limerence
I fell for you deeply into some sort of spell.
Sadly sometimes I end up feeling unwell
And all I wish is for you to be able to tell
How for you my heart will always swell.
I fell for the you you could potentially be,
Until I realized what I want is also in me
As you told me you couldn't be what I see,
But little do you know maybe we can be free.
I fell in love with how you made me smile,
It made me wish you'll stay a longer while,
But I know even true love's gone out of style
In modern age with everyone's own wile.
I fell in love with my idyllic perception of you.
Sadly turns out someone like me won't do
And I'm not sure if I'll ever break through
My state of limerence's every debut.
