Lime Green Cadillac

Andy had a lime green Cadillac
took him for a ride and didn’t bring him back
he never crashed
he lived until he was 95
here is where the story may
 open your eyes
 it was late December when
 he passed away
then I saw the tow truck on
the very next day
It had his shinning old car in tow
the first time I seen it in the ice and snow
at the service was a picture of
 him in his car
 I thought that very strange
but everybody knows
 times will change
at the cemetery
no body prepared me for the fright
his car on a boom truck
did not look right
Andy sitting at the wheel
 man what a sight

It took six plots to cover him in
as the car was lowered down I thought I saw him grin
Andy had a lime green Cadillac
took him for a ride and didn’t bring him back
