Oh, Lilith who belongs to the night
seductress of men and women leading them astray
a loathsome baby killer waiting for their births
roaming this world malevolent, wrathful, untamed and evil
first wife of Adam it is said banished from the garden
now, the proud wife of Lucifer casting spells on humans
Writers and poets pen of her beauty, her chaos, her corruption
and seduction in many a guise, she can switch
from demon to lovely woman but within she is malicious
artists paint her as beautiful temptress
or as Michelangelo, as half woman and half fanged serpent
with wings of a night owl embracing and protecting her
Her black hair so luscious seems to be soft to the touch
her ruby lips like fine wine to drink, sip, savor and entice
eyes that turn from depths of beauty to the fire of Hell's destruction
no human can resist her lure of corruption as Lucifer laughs
oh, should you meet such a demon in your life, run away, run
do not let her into your soul . . . do not kiss those ruby lips
