Morning Line! Lilacs are surely a harbinger of spring - difficult to grow in northern California as they need a cold snap to bloom - but some are survivors. I grew up with lilacs and love them. Now I have a white lilac that does bloom. A rare and welcomed treat. Congratulations!

They are and planted next to the driveway. Every time I get in and out of the car their fragrance is a special gift! Your poem brings back all of memories of the perfume of lilacs.
