Lil Hat's World
I've seen the by-product
of alcoholic parents
not my own
but some folk I love
Those whose souls
cry out from a childhood
of
Poverty
Humiliation
Being Ostracized
Anger
MIXED AT THAT!
Black and White
Where I come from,
a formula for torture
not black enough
not white enough
Living in the ghetto's
of San Francisco
leaves that adult
by-product
in a messed up way
