Lil Hat's World

I've seen the by-product of alcoholic parents not my own but some folk I love Those whose souls cry out from a childhood of Poverty Humiliation Being Ostracized Anger MIXED AT THAT! Black and White Where I come from, a formula for torture not black enough not white enough Living in the ghetto's of San Francisco leaves that adult by-product in a messed up way ~Ms. Affection - March 17, 2021

How sad this world we live in. Will it ever stop? Your poem drew light to the actions of so many behind a curtain we call living. Thankyou for sharing.

Some scars keep bleeding until the balm of time transmutes them into beauteous wabi-sabi designs. Loved the honest words you’ve penned, Affection, earth life can be harsh and brutal.
