Li'L Bo Peep

written in an Indian form, abhanga

Lil Bo Peep found her sheep
in a lovely locale
singing Luther’s chorale -
Mighty Fortress.

She’d trailed their tails through town,
but sheep had found a church.
There she ended her search
musical rest.

Left - no longer bereft
refrains raised her morale;
this church, a cool corral
for shepherdess.

You "real" poets with knowledge of various forms of poetry, blow my mind, and are educating me, for this say thanks. I did write my first pantoum, called, "Lord I pantoum you", and it won in contest. So know you give pleasure to readers, and I thank you again.
