Like Me

my oh my, here we go again.
you're crying in the corner
because you've lost all your friends.
denying any possibility that it's you,
not them.
so very alone
but you'll just make another plan.

they say you're crazy.
i think that maybe
you're just as sane as me.
you grew up crooked and starving,
you crave the attention.
i think you're just the same as me.
like that hurricane walking,
you watch the dust settling.
you think you need saving,
and you've been praying, just like me.

It's true, for almost all of us. I like that phrase - Hurricaen walking.
