Like Fragile Leaves
Like fragile leaves are children’s souls.
Sweet innocence can never last,
and winds of spiteful words tear holes.
Like fragile leaves are children’s souls.
With joy they fall to grassy knolls,
But met with hate, they wither fast.
Like fragile leaves are children’s souls;
Sweet innocence can never last.
