So I thought once if I could make for you sweet heart, as evergreen as you stay true to me though mournful in your bearing oh soul; pure of my league, calm of my thought, row me to shore same as the rest. surely I should falter and yield here as I transform. If I felt whole, if I felt love in my soul stirring at nights dreaming I should storm.
