Like a Rubber Band

You know how things may pull at you and you seem to be stretched past your
limit, but you just do not seem to break? Well your like a rubber band. Forcefully
being pulled along by that individual who feels they have all the power over you.
Then they try and pull you down so they can climb over you and try and reach the
top. But little do they know that once they let you go you sling shot a level higher
than them. Your like a rubber band. They feel the only way to make themselves
better is to lower you. But once again their clueless to the fact that as long as they
feel inferior to you they are inferior to you. You will always keep the upper hand.
With a smile and a laugh you know you have made their animosity excel to levels
unbelievable. And yet your smile remains the same. Your emotions never
change and you know you still remain on top. For them the anger grows with your
happiness and their fear as well. Not physically fearing what you may do to them
but afraid of the control you have over their mind. Meanwhile their still in denial of
all the negative things that they’ve done. Trying to believe that they are just as you.
Yet you know your wrongs and your aware of your flaws. And they will never be
you. As long as they want to be, they will never be close. Your still like a rubber
band because you spring up at every chance you get. Like a rubber band; being
able to stretch and bend. Twist around every corner and still maintain your
shape. Like a rubber band. Having no feelings what so ever of the things that
surround you. Like a rubber band. ABLE TO BOUNCE RIGHT BACK.
