Like a Rainbow

People say that rainbows are beautiful
To see one is an experience so wonderful
Gives you a feeling that’s so soulful
Blessing from heaven that is bountiful

But you can’t have rainbows without rain
Just like the saying no gain without pain
In stormy times faith you should maintain
In the end sunshine you would surely regain

Look forward to the coming of the sun
The rainbow will come when the rain is done
Bringing you hope and filling life with fun
Before you know it the battle had been won

Be strong in your faith dear friend
The storm will eventually come to an end
In the meantime warm love to you we send
A love that’s true and friendship without end

Together we‘ll wait for the rainbow
With it’s beauty the whole sky will glow
Even through the rain our hearts will know
That hope and love should always flow

This is a very touching piece, John. Oh yeah, I guess the colours are bent every so often, but there is still beauty and love there to be found. It strange how a dark cast sky can be host to something so magnificient. Faith is a crucial part of mending, it brings out the sun so one can see the rainbows. :) Love you, my friend, and so am wishing you the very best! Take care and God bless you and yours...Mikki :)
