Like a Phoenix from the ashes

You act like I'm too optimistic 
Too positive for this world 
But I have my bad days
I've had a lifetime of hurts

And despite every horrible experience 
Despite every setback and betrayal 
I chose to forgive and move forward 
I chose to use it to brighten my way

I've lived in the depths of Hell 
And I turned that **** around 
I fought off all those demons 
And made Hell my hunting ground 

I showed them who's the boss 
I destroyed Hell's power year by year
No matter the fires that burned me up 
I rose again and transmuted fear

Like a Phoenix from the ashes 
Like a Warrior on the battlefield 
Like an Angel sent from Heaven
Like a Soul designed to heal 

Yes, I'm every one of those 
Multifaceted like a kaleidoscope 
Like a diamond reflects light and beauty 
I will never give up sharing hope 

So many people have taken advantage 
So many people think my kindness is weak
So many people underestimate me
So many people think they have me beat

They are limited in their thinking 
They don't see the Universe like my Soul does
They don't have God and His Angels protecting them
They aren't Chosen Ones sent from above 

And no matter how hard my journey 
No matter what others think of me
I know that I am pure and authentic 
I know that my path is my freedom 

They will still be trapped
In their greed and insecurity 
In their schemes and silly mind games
While I'll be flying clear and free 

I'm here to show the way for all
It's not about ego or fame
I rise and fly above human things
I'm here to help humans feel the flame 

That flame within their Souls 
That flame that their hearts know 
That flame that can change everything 
That flame that makes our energy flow

I believe anything is possible 
I believe magic and miracles are real
I believe that being good and positive is worth it
I believe you and I can make this world heal 

So, be authentically your best self
Embrace your power and divine essence 
Show courage in your transformation 
And leave a legacy of blessings

Be the positive difference in the world 
Ignore the haters and the trolls
Because we can show the Universe we're shining
And allow Heaven and Earth to be home
