Like a Mouse
Gone
Like the mouse
Finds his cage door unlatched
You sent me away
And said don’t look back
Numb
Like a mouse
Steals a crumb
So is my heart
Which can no longer feel
for no one
Hurt
Like a mouse
Caught in a trap
that’s how my pain feels
Something like that
Burned
Like the mouse
When they rid of his remains
You took my love
And set it to flames
Now
No more mouse
only an empty cage
And what’s left
Of my remains……..
