Like a Child

It seems just yesterday When I was but a baby Now I am grown "Where did time fly to", I ask myself. A new phase of life Is upon me This is a new change I will gladly accept Times have changed New challenges to face New hurdles to cross "Phew", I sigh Wiping beads of sweat from my forehead Childhood days were fun days Less worries, less struggles Those were good times If only I could turn back the hands of time I just want to go back To those carefree days when I was a child I can still make my days ahead Beautiful and memorable I want to be like a child Play and jump around I want to be like a child Carefree and happy These are my inner wishes If only it were possible I would have loved To be like a child
