Like a child… Her smile was wide Lifting to the sky Graceful and light Gentle as the heart Colored with love Like a child… Her kiss was tender Touching the spirit With kindness so soft Silent as the forest Who only knows to hope Like a child… Her joy came from inside Breathed from the soul Pure and filled with promise Dreaming of the moment When sun falls on the yearning Like a child… Her mind was always inspired Alive with songs and poems Willing to give from within Affection and devotion Passionate prayers of praise Like a child… Her feelings worn on her sleeve Echoing grace and goodwill Peppered with generosity Lingering on the heart who sees She’s dancing with life’s wonders Like a child… Her music comes from secret thoughts Sparked by an imagination awash In beauty, mercy and desires Dancing on the flames of faith Giving out the sweetest peace Like a child… Her Creator, her maker The Author who wrote her story In poetry and psalms Reminds her that her life, her being Her very existence – are gifts And like a child… She accepts the gift of this life With faith that she is alive Because He lived and died Then rose again to give to her The chance to become His child I’m so thankful that He’s alive And, like a child… I accept Him The One who gives a new life!

I like the way there are three poems in one. You can read down line by line, your can read a poem indented, and you can read a poem that is tabbed. Good Job! I am glad he found a home in your heart :) Just, Ed
