Ligthened
"You Have Sensitive Skin,"
a gentle reassurance
this is normal —
water feels more like fire
destroying everything in its wake
tan turns to raw,
angry blisters
red fades
leaving pale skin
you no longer
recognize yourself
all you can do is cry
