Lights Path

Lost in thought, I wander aimlessly
Through the darkness of my mind
Searching for a glimmer of hope
A light that I might find

The weight of the world upon my shoulders
I struggle to stand tall
But with each step I take, I know
I'm moving towards the light, after all

For though the road may be long and winding
And the journey fraught with pain
I know that I will find my way
Once more, so I shall choose to remain
