Lighthouse
after sailing so long, it was time
its been enough hill climb
now I deserve something sublime
stuck while drifting so long
I know not where I belong
ways out seem dim
tension has mounted to the brim
with none to wriggle me out
leaving me to think wither am I about
you my lighthouse shone up so bright with intense beam
you sure seemed a dream
you shine in darkness, Ill follow you
you'll carry me safely through
I wont fear what tomorrow brings
with each morning I'll sing
my Gods love will lead me
from tensions I'll be free
I want to be a lighthouse to the passersby
to be a reflection of you I'll try
let them not grope in the dark
let them not disembark
and their ships reach the shore
help in making their trip merry not sore
